Join the Fairview PTA Reading Recognition Program!

• STEP 1: READ! Comics, fiction, non-fiction, newspapers, magazines, poetry - any reading counts, and in any language!!! Reading minutes assigned as class homework also counts for Reading Recognition minutes! Minimum required each month: 
• Kg and 1st Grade 200 minutes
• 2nd Grade 300 minutes
• 3rd and 4th 350 minutes
• 5th and 6th 500 minutes

• STEP 2: Record reading minutes daily (see other side for a log sheet). The log sheet is not collected - keep it in a safe place at home! An electronic daily log can also be kept. Please See Here for the Sheet  

• STEP 3: Complete the Google form (see QR code!) to submit the total monthly minutes, due by the 5th of the following month! The link is also in the weekly “Falcon Flash” newsletter. 

All Fairview students are encouraged to join!  

September minutes will be due by Oct. 5. 

The PTA committee volunteers will distribute prize vouchers to all students who participate each month! The vouchers will be distributed in classrooms during lunchtime, and are redeemable at local restaurants!
