Welcome to Fairview Elementary School!

On behalf of the Fairview PTA, I’d like to extend a warm welcome to you and your family to the Fairview community.  Some of you are returning students and families; some of you are new to this school.  Consider this note your personal invitation to join the Fairview PTA!  Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of all children attending Fairview and to create a strong community of Falcon families!

Numerous studies reveal that children learn more and lead better lives when parents, school staff, and their community all work together.  Our PTA pulls all of these groups into its membership so that we can work side by side to offer programs and activities that benefit each child individually and the entire school collectively.  Some examples of our PTA programs include cultural arts assemblies, Movie Night, our Family Dance, and other events where families can gather and socialize throughout the school year.  Fairview PTA volunteers also organize Hot Lunch Wednesdays and Pizza Fridays.  We recognize that this year is going to look a little different, but we hope to host new and exciting virtual events to support our Fairview families.

Joining the Fairview PTA as a member can be a big step in enhancing your child’s school experience.  Membership is open to parents, teachers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and neighbors.  Individual memberships are $7.50 and family memberships are only $15.  Our goal is 100% PTA enrollment!

We also encourage you to volunteer your time and talents to Fairview.  It can be as little as helping during a single PTA function or as involved as heading up a committee.  Whether you prefer to volunteer during the day or evening, at school or from home, alone or with a group, we can find something that you will enjoy.  Your support makes ALL of the difference in our PTA's success.

In an attempt to cut down on the amount of paper our PTA sends to our families, we use an online form and payment solution, Membership Toolkit. This website is your "go to" for all things Fairview!  Using Membership Toolkit,  you will be able to sign up for PTA membership, enter in your family information for our online directory, select and pay for most of our PTA activities (including Hot Lunch, Pizza Friday, and Spirit Wear), view school and PTA calendars, and sign up for volunteer opportunities.  Soon we hope to roll out more features on this website, and we hope you find what we've provided to be helpful and easy to use.  

For more information on how to get involved, or if you have any suggestions, questions, or concerns, please contact me at fairviewptaprez@gmail.com.  PTA meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday evening of every month in the school gym or on Zoom.  We all know how difficult it is to juggle our schedules, so to make your participation in the PTA easier, we provide free babysitting at our meetings.
